This stone art piece was made here at my shop in Oklahoma and was knapped from novaculite flint from Hot Springs Arkansas. The blade is set with pine pitch resin and wrapped with natural fiber cordage. The handle is coyote jaw bone. The stand deer vertebrae.
The exposed blade length is approximately 3 1/4 " inches long x 1 1/8 wide with an overall length of 7 3/4 inches.
Although these art pieces make fantastic display pieces, they are sharp and can be used. like any stone tool, once dule, it can be resharpened by pressure flaking the edge with a deer antler flaker.
Antler flakers are also available for purchase.
The bone stand is included.
